ARTIST MENTORSHIP

Ongoing support for artists seeking clarity, confidence, and a sustainable creative life.

Making art over time can feel lonely. Many artists don’t need more instruction, but rather companionship, discernment, and encouragement — someone to help them listen more closely to their work and make space for it within the real conditions of their life.

My hope is to create a partnership that supports your creative practice with intention and care. Together, we focus on both what you are making and how you are living alongside your art.

This is not a productivity program or a rigid curriculum. It is a relational, personalized space that we design together, to meet you where you are.

COMBINING MENTORSHIPS AND LESSONS

It's an option to pair mentorship with private lessons (tailored to your specific goals) for more technical support. We can put together a package of mentor sessions and private lessons, if that's your preference.

WHO THIS IS FOR :

Artist Mentorship may be a good fit if:
  • You're looking for ongoing support rather than a one-time critique
  • You want help clarifying artistic direction or next steps
  • You're returning to art after a pause or transition
  • You'd benefit from a bit of gentle accountability
  • You're navigating perfectionism, comparison, or self-doubt
  • You want your art practice to feel more integrated with the rest of your life
This is especially well-suited for artists who value reflection, slowness, and depth alongside skill and discipline.

WHAT MENTORING CAN INCLUDE

Each mentorship relationship is tailored, but may include:
  • Collaborative goal-setting rooted in your values and season of life
  • Gentle structure and optional assignments or prompts
  • Thoughtful critique, if desired
  • Support navigating doubt, comparison, creative blocks, or transitions
  • Space to reflect on meaning, identity, and creative rhythm
  • Companionship on the path of living a more artful, attentive life
My hope is for our conversations to move fluidly between the practical and the personal—between the painting itself, and the deeper questions that surround it.

WHAT THIS IS NOT :

  • A fast-track program
  • A rigid syllabus or prescriptive method
